CUSTODIAN

Reports to: Building Principal and Maintenance Supervisor

 

Job Objectives:

Performs custodial and routine maintenance duties to protect and preserve the school building, grounds, equipment, and furnishings. Maintains high standards to ensure that a safe and orderly environment is maintained for educational and recreational activities. Uses each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district.

Abilities Required:

Supervisory Responsibility:

Under the direction of the building principal and/or maintenance supervisor: provides instructions and communicates expectations to assigned substitutes, seasonal/temporary employees, and job trainees.

 

Working Conditions:

Exposure to the following conditions may range from remote to frequent based on circumstances and factors that may not be predictable.

Performance Evaluation:

Job performance is evaluated according to the policy provisions adopted by the Sidney City School District Board of Education.
